I must agree! Check out the announcement video:

+ Second, details of the collectors edition (titled Premier Edition) have been announced in a Battlecast Primetime special. Only available as a 110Mb download.

+ And finally Greg Black has posted his developer blog; The Art of Balancing in which (unsurprisingly) he talks about the balancing process:
basically if you're playing the RA3 Beta right now, and you just got rushed by that OP unit, or had your army murdered by some stupid player power, I'm the guy to blame! More specifically, I am responsible for the design and tuning of most of the core game systems; all the stuff you guys are stress testing in our beta right now.

New Poll

The results of our poll show that the majority of visitors want EA to concentrate their Kane's Wrath resources on developing a Mod SDK.

The new question asks which C&C game are you currently playing? Have you migrated to the RA3 beta, are you still content with Kane's Wrath, or are you even a die hard Tib Wars player? If you're playing more than one game be sure to send a comment so I know which ones.

Tour EALA

David Silverman took the BBC on a guided tour of the EALA studios, as you'd expect from The Big S it's not entirely serious!

Of course they mention that Gemma Atkinson (well known to British audiences) is part of the game. There's no new info, but it's always cool to see behind the scenes.

The History of Red Alert

Just in case you're rusty on your Red Alert timeline there's a History of Red Alert article on the official site. It takes you through the events of Red Alerts 1 and 2, Yuri's Revenge and the pre-amble to Red Alert 3. Unfortunately not giving any more away about the storyline than we know already.

RA3 Updates

The majority of you who applied for the RA3 beta should be finding your keys being activated very shortly if that haven't done so already. The lobbies are certainly filling up, a massive difference from the first round.

+ Those whose keys have been activated already are asked to fill in this quick survey for your initial opinions.

+ But the key-less aren't forgotten; the Sea-Wing unit profile and FAQ #12 have just been posted for your reading pleasure.

+ And finally, of interest to everyone is an interview with Jeremy Feasel, one of the multiplayer map designers. He talks about the basic design process and the rigorous testing and iteration that goes into producing the final product:
The goal throughout the development of RA3 was to create a multiplayer experience that would appeal to a wide audience. We've added quite a variety of map sizes, from small, "knife-fight" 1v1 maps that are the favorites of our fast-click, hardcore MP crowd; to sprawling forests with multiple lanes, elevations, and back-doors, for the thoughtful meta-map strategist.
Sounds like hard work!
