HANG WITH REPEATING AUDIO
On some systems Tiberian Dawn (C&C1), Red Alert, Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 can hang with repeating sound in the first second of video, this often means it is impossible to get past the Westwood Studios logo. Below is a step-by step guide to fix this bug.
Click Start and then click Run:
In the dialogue which appears type "dxdiag" and press OK:
Select the Sound tab, slide the Hardware Sound Acceleration Level to No Acceleration and click Exit:
